While Coach Jay may have officially moved to the west coast 😎 -- Buctown Wrestling is still here!
Continuing in his footsteps, with an occasional drop in guest Coach, Coaches Diego Viera + Santino Imparato are taking over Buctown Wrestling classes.
Now a member of BCC Wrestling, Belleville Wrestling Alumni Viera has been volunteer Coaching both Kids Wrestling+ Kids Jiu Jitsu Classes at Buctown since Day 1. He was also the Assistant Coach to Isip's Head Coach position with Beat The Streets Newark this past Winter.
Imparato, an active Amateur MMA Fighter (2-0) with the Buctown Fight Team, BJJ Blue Belt, and former US Marine, is also a Belleville Wrestling Alumni and no stranger to training and hard work.
Two technical athletes, these 2 have spent more mat time with Coach Jay in the past 4-6 years than we can count. They've gone through the tough training, they have the knowledge, and they've experienced the ups and downs of the sport. We know for certain Our Program is in the best hands.
While remaining true to our vision, our classes are still FREE to attend, but we are still a donation based Nonprofit Organization. We encourage you to give, or don't give, whatever you can.
Your generosity and support funds Our Program by helping us compensate our amazing Volunteer Coaches and can allow us to broaden our capacity to serve the youth within our Community.
TUESDAYS + THURSDAYS 7:15PM / Our Program is currently being held at Renzo Gracie Belleville and open to ALL LEVELS and Kids Ages 8th Grade and UP. All are welcome!
